Defining If CVC codes are required for reservations

The information in this article is relevant only for Pro users at this time.

By default, CVC codes will be collected from your guest's credit cards when booking their reservations. You can choose not to collect the CVC codes. Follow the instructions below.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the icon drop-down menu and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Click the relevant listing.
  5. In the listing's menu, click Pricing & Policies.
  6. In the drop-down, click Channel payment settings.
  7. In the section on the right-hand side, click Edit.
  8. To the right of "CVC policy", turn the toggle off. For listings that were linked with Guesty rather than published, the option of Yes or No may appear instead of a toggle.
  9. Click Save.


For a multi-unit, the " Additional Information" section will either appear in the listing's main settings or an individual sub-unit's settings, depending on how the listing has been connected with Learn how to access the main settings vs. a sub-unit's settings.
