Create a rental agreement for guests to fill out and sign electronically before they arrive. Once the rental agreement is sent, you can see an audit trail of when it was viewed, signed, and submitted. You can find the information in the following ways:
- The documents status report provides a bird's-eye view across reservations.
- The reservation page provides full details about a specific reservation.
- The inbox lets you see the message that was sent to the guest with the rental agreement along with the entire conversation thread.
Note:
The completed rental agreement message will not contain the PDF attachment when sent via Airbnb due to channel limitations. As an alternative, a link to the agreement is sent instead.
Before you begin
A rental agreement that has been sent to the guest won't update if the reservation changes. If you want to see an updated version of the agreement based on the newest reservation details, you'll need to create a new one and send it to the guest.
Once the guest fills out and signs the agreement, it cannot be deleted.
Documents status report
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Operations to open the dropdown menu. - Under Front desk, select Status report.
- Find the relevant reservation and click View in the column to the right of the "Modified" column. If you also sent a check-in form to the guest, the reservation will appear twice, once for the rental agreement and once for the check-in form.
Reservation page
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Reservations.
- Click the relevant reservation.
- Scroll down to "Travel information". Under "Documents", click Rental agreement.
Inbox
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Inbox.
- In the Inbox submenu, click
. - Under "All conversations", click on the thread of the relevant guest.
- Scroll through the thread to locate the rental agreement.
