When connecting your Guesty account to Misterb&b, a new Misterb&b account is created, even if you have an existing one already. The listings will be managed in Guesty.
If you're switching from Misterb&b via a channel manager to Guesty's direct connection, start by deleting your existing Misterb&b account.
Switch from Misterb&b via a channel manager to Guesty's direct connection
When switching to the direct connection, make sure your calendar doesn't contain any upcoming Misterb&b reservations. Disconnect Misterb&b listings from the channel manager in order to hide them from search results. Next, follow the instructions below.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Misterb&b account.
- In the top menu, click the profile icon.
- From the dropdown menu, select My account.
- On the left, click Account settings.
- Click Delete my account.
Proceed to connect Guesty. In the process, you will create a new Misterb&b account.
Connect your Guesty account to Misterb&b
Follow the instructions to connect your Guesty account and properties to Misterb&b.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
- Click Distribution.
- Click the Misterb&b thumbnail
- At the top right, click Connect.
- Copy the generated API key then click Done.
- Create a Misterb&b account.
- Complete the registration form.
- Paste the API key you copied into the corresponding field in Misterb&b.
To finalize the connection process, set up the following items in Misterb&b:
- Profile
- Payment method
- Instant booking
Markups set in Guesty for manual and Booking Website reservations automatically apply to Misterb&b listings.
Once connected, all of your properties are automatically published to Misterb&b within 48 hours. The number of listings doesn't appear in the Misterb&b integration page, so sign in to your Misterb&b account to view them.
Which content and settings sync
Once connected, see below which content and settings sync from Guesty to Misterb&b. Listing updates made in Misterb&b don't sync to Guesty.
- Additional fees, cleaning fee, and extra person fee
- Amenities
- Availability and restrictions on availability
- Listing title
- Minimum night limits
- Nightly rates
- Number of beds
- Occupancy
- Property description
- Property images/photos
- Taxes
Guest communication syncs from Misterb&b to Guesty and should be managed in the Guesty Inbox. However, if a guest submits an inquiry without a booking, the inquiry doesn't sync to Guesty. Handle these messages directly in Misterb&b.
