Connect your Guesty account to Misterb&b to manage your Misterb&b listings directly from Guesty. When you connect, Guesty creates a new Misterb&b account for you, even if you already have an existing account. Manage all listings in Guesty.
Note:
If you currently use Misterb&b through a different channel manager, disconnect your listings and delete your existing Misterb&b account before connecting through Guesty.
Switch from Misterb&b via a channel manager to Guesty's direct connection
When switching to a direct connection, ensure that your Misterb&b calendar does not have any upcoming reservations. Disconnect your listings from the other channel manager to hide them from Misterb&b’s search results. Then, follow these steps:
Steps:
- Sign in to your Misterb&b account.
- Click the profile icon in the top menu.
- In the dropdown menu, select My account.
- In the left menu, click Account settings.
- Click Delete my account.
Proceed to connect Guesty, which creates your new Misterb&b account.
Connect your Guesty account to Misterb&b
Follow these steps to connect your Guesty account and properties to Misterb&b.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Marketing and sales to open the dropdown menu. - Under Channel management, select Distribution.
- Click the Misterb&b thumbnail
- At the top right, click Connect.
- Copy the generated API key then click Done.
- Create a Misterb&b account.
- Complete the registration form.
- Paste the API key you copied into the corresponding field in Misterb&b.
To finalize the connection process, set up the following items in Misterb&b:
- Profile
- Payment method
- Instant booking
Markups set in Guesty for manual and Booking Website reservations automatically apply to Misterb&b listings.
Important:
After connecting, your properties publish to Misterb&b within up to 72 hours for new integrations and up to 48 hours for listings already integrated. To check your live listings, sign in to Misterb&b. The number of listings does not appear in the Misterb&b integration page in Guesty.
Which content and settings sync
Once connected, see below which content and settings sync from Guesty to Misterb&b. Listing updates made in Misterb&b don't sync to Guesty.
- Additional fees, cleaning fee, and extra person fee
- Amenities
- Availability and restrictions on availability
- Listing title
- Minimum night limits
- Nightly rates
- Number of beds
- Occupancy
- Property description
- Property images/photos
Note:
Misterb&b guest messages do not sync to Guesty. Manage guest communication directly in Misterb&b.
Requirements for an active listing
Your Misterb&b listing must meet these requirements to appear live:
- Title is no more than 70 characters.
- Description is no more than 3,600 characters.
- At least 3 photos added for your property.
Tip:
If your property is not active, review these requirements and update details in Guesty as needed.
Hiding a listing
All active and listed properties in Guesty appear in Misterb&b after connection. To hide a listing, unlist it in Guesty. Unlisting removes the property from all connected channels.
