Disconnecting, removing, or reconnecting your Airbnb account

If you no longer work with Airbnb, or the listings associated with an account are no longer under your management, you can disconnect your Airbnb account from Guesty. A disconnected account can be  reconnected at any time, or permanently removed from Guesty after disconnecting it. 

Disconnect your Airbnb account from Guesty

Before attempting to disconnect your account, follow the instructions to disconnect your listings. Failure to do so may affect your ability to disconnect your account.

Disconnected listings will remain on the integration page in Guesty, which you can reconnect at any time. 

Follow the instructions below to disconnect your Airbnb account from Guesty.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Distribution.
  4. Click the Airbnb thumbnail.
  5. To the right of the relevant account, click Connected.
  6. Select Disconnect.
  7. In the pop-up, click Yes, disconnect.
  8. Refresh the page.

    The account and all its listings will be disconnected from Guesty within 15 minutes.

Once disconnected, the status will change to “Not connected”. You can now remove the account from Guesty, or reconnect it.

Remove your Airbnb account from Guesty

After you disconnect your account, follow the instructions below to permanently remove your Airbnb account from Guesty. 

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Distribution.
  4. Click the Airbnb thumbnail.
  5. To the right of the relevant account, click the dropdown arrow next to "Disconnected".
  6. Select Remove.
  7. In the pop-up, click Remove.

Reconnect your Airbnb account to Guesty

Follow the instructions below to reconnect a disconnected Airbnb account to Guesty.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Distribution.
  4. Click the Airbnb thumbnail.
  5. To the right of the relevant account, click Disconnected.
  6. Select Connect from the dropdown to reconnect the account.
