Adding or removing properties from Guesty Booking Engine (Booking Website for Lite users)

When you create your Booking Engine (Booking Website for Lite users), you select which properties will be included in the Booking Engine. These properties will appear in the search results of the Engine and can be booked by guests. You can always take properties on and off the Booking Engine as your business needs change. Follow the instructions below to configure which properties to include in the Booking Engine.

Prerequisites and limitations

  • Only active and listed properties can be included in the Booking Engine.
  • Only multi-units (Pro users) and single-unit listings can be added to the Booking Engine, not complexes or sub-units. In the case of a multi-unit, you can only add the main unit to the Engine, and your guests can only book the main unit (meaning, they cannot book a specific sub-unit). When a reservation for the multi-unit is received, it will be assigned to one of the multi-unit's available sub-units.
  • If you set your booking Engine/Website to include "All" properties, any properties you create will automatically be added to the list of properties included in the Booking Engine. You can always change these settings.

  • When excluding listings, make sure to select all the listings you want to exclude each time you enter edit mode. If you excluded listings previously, you'll need to reselect them during editing, as your prior selections will be overwritten.
