When creating a listing, you define its maximum occupancy- how many guests can stay in it simultaneously. This occupancy determines whether the listing will appear in the booking channel's search results. If a potential guest searches for accommodation for more guests than the listing's maximum occupancy, it will not be included in the search results.
You can change a listing's occupancy at any time. Follow the instructions below to do so.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
- Click Properties.
- Click the relevant listing.
- In the case of a multi-unit, select the main unit, not a specific sub-unit.
- In the left-side menu, under "Details & Layout", click Location & details.
- Click Edit next to "Property details"
- Under "Occupancy", use the up and down arrows to adjust the number.
- Scroll down and click Save.
