Your Guesty sending email address is visible to guests in the "from" field of your email. By default, it ends in @user.guesty.com and is unique per channel. To better represent your business and enhance your brand, you can customize this address in two ways, depending on the booking channel:
- Modify the prefix of your existing sending email address, for example happystays@user.guesty.com. This change does not require DNS setup.
- "White-label" your sending email address with a custom domain.

Choose a new domain
You can replace your sending email address with a custom domain to send branded messages to your guests. This change requires configuration of your domain's DNS records to ensure your messages are not flagged as spam.
Follow the instructions below to create or change a domain-related email address to replace your existing Guesty sending email address.
Step by step:
- Choose your new domain
- Buy a new domain:
For example "mydomain.com". Alternatively, you can create a subdomain under an existing domain that isn’t currently being used for email services, for example "info.mydomain.com".- We recommend using a subdomain rather than a main domain as Guesty will be given full control of all email traffic for a main domain following the white-labeling process.
- Only use a main domain if it's being used exclusively in Guesty.
- Create your new email address:
After creating a domain/subdomain your email address(es) will be formatted accordingly. For example, if your subdomain is "info.mydomain.com", your email address(es) will be formatted as name@info.mydomain.com.
- Buy a new domain:
- Contact us with the new domain/subdomain and email address you'd like to use as your new sending email address.
- Once the new domain is ready, we’ll send you a PDF with instructions for you to follow, (e.g. filling in the routing information on your DNS provider's site).
This process includes verifying 3 main components:
- The ability to send emails
- The ability to receive emails
- The ability to track who opened and clicked your emails
You may be asked to update specific data on your DNS provider's site again if the subdomain fails validation.
- Contact us once the steps above are completed.
