You can customize the sending email address in Guesty to represent your business. Choose the email address your messages are sent from— your personal / business email address, or your Guesty integration email address.
By default, Guesty integration email address is enabled to support the flow of communication between a booking channel's messaging platform and Guesty. It is visible to guests in the sender/"from" field of your email.
Follow the steps below to personalize your sending email address guests use to contact you, or to change your Guesty integration email address to match your booking channel's settings.
Changing your integration email prefix
Please keep in mind that the email address should be unique.
If you select an email address that already exists, Guesty's support team will notify you, and you'll be able to select a new email address.
Important:
If a guest responds to your old integration email from their private email address, their message won't be received in the Guesty Inbox.
To prevent this, send a message with your updated integration email from the Inbox to all relevant guests — meaning, guests who use their private email address to contact you.
Their responses will be received in your Guesty Inbox.
Choosing a new domain
Follow the instructions below to edit, change, or update your Guesty integration email address's domain.
Step by step:
- Choose your new domain.
- You can buy a domain or create a subdomain under an existing (root) domain that isn’t already being used for email services.
We suggest using a subdomain such as info.mydomain.com, not mydomain.com. Using your main domain in Guesty will transfer all control for this domain to Guesty after the white-labeling process, which is not recommended. We suggest using the main domain only if this is not being used anywhere else, except for Guesty. - Create email addresses.
If you want to create a subdomain and your root domain is "www.root.com", the subdomain should be "www.sub.root.com". The emails will then be "airbnb@sub.root.com", "vrbo@sub.root.com", and "manual@sub.root.com".Note:
If you use a root domain, Guesty will have full control of email traffic and will intercept root domain emails.

-
Contact us with the domain or subdomain you'd like to use as your new integration email address.
We'll ask you for some additional information required to begin the process. - Once the new domain is ready, we’ll send you a PDF with instructions for you to follow, (e.g. filling in the routing information on your DNS provider's site).
This process includes verifying 3 main components:
- The ability to send emails
- The ability to receive emails
- The ability to track who opened and clicked your emails
- Contact us once the steps above are completed.
