Why do I see inflated Booking.com rates for length of stay conditions (Beta)?

Important:

Length of stay (LOS) conditions are part of a Beta feature.

Sometimes your Booking.com calendar or rates view shows a nightly rate of 999,900 instead of your actual rate. This happens when your listing uses length of stay (LOS) pricing. Often guests aren't actually charged this amount, but it's worth checking that your rate plans are set up correctly.

Why the rate is inflated

With LOS pricing, the rate for a date depends on how many nights the guest books. For example:

  • 2-night stay: 400 USD
  • 3-night stay: 550 USD
  • 5-night stay: 700 USD

Booking.com's calendar can't show every price for the same date, so it displays a placeholder value of 999,900 instead

Check your LOS prices on Booking.com

Follow the steps below to check your LOS prices on Booking.com.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to the Booking.com Extranet.
  2. Go to Rates & Availability.
  3. Select LOS price table.

If the table shows the correct price for each length of stay, you don't need to do anything. The 999,900 in the calendar is only a placeholder.

If your rate plans use "Standard nightly" pricing, Booking.com can't process the LOS data, and the inflated rate stays in place. To fix this, use one of the options below.

Update your rate plans on Booking.com

Contact Booking.com support and ask them to switch your Extranet rate plans to LOS pricing.

Note:

Guesty can't change your Extranet rate plan type for you.
