Pilot: Connecting your Vacation Finder account and listings to Guesty

Vacation Finder is a unique and dedicated platform for vacation rentals, tailored specifically for the needs of professional property managers (VRMs).

Before you begin

  • You must manage a minimum of ten properties to connect with Vacation Finder
  • Each property should have a minimum of 25 images

Connect your account and listings

Follow the steps below to connect your Vacation Finder account and listings to Guesty. 

  1. Register for a Vacation Finder account.
  2. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  3. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  4. Click Distribution.
  5. Locate the Vacation Finder thumbnail and click Connect
  6. Click Start connecting to Vacation Finder.
  7. Click Continue to connect listings.
  8. Select a cancellation policy, and a cancellation fee if relevant, from the dropdown menus, then click Next.

    You can change the cancellation policy at any time via the listing's settings.

  9. Choose the listings you'd like to connect by selecting All my current listings or Specific listings. If you choose the latter, click Select listings to connect. Then, check the boxes for the relevant listings, and click Done

    Important:

    Only multi-units and single units can be linked to Vacation Finder.

  10. Click Done

    A pop-up will appear letting you know that your listings are pending connection with Vacation Finder.

  11. Click Continue to dashboard.

Connect additional listings

To connect new listings after your Vacation Finder account is connected to Guesty, click Connect listings at the top-right corner of your Vacation Finder dashboard and follow steps 7 to 11 above.

Disconnect a listing

Follow the instructions to disconnect a listing in Guesty

Sync listing changes

Changes to listings sync to Vacation Finder only if the listing's status is "Live on channel". If the listing status is Pending, changes won't sync until the status changes to either "Live on Channel" or "Failed".  

  • Live on channel: Changes sync automatically to the channel.
  • Failed: Reinitiate the connection process to sync the updates to the channel.
