Connecting your BookingPal account and listings to Guesty

Note:

This channel is not yet available to all Guesty users. To join the pilot, fill out this form

BookingPal syncs your property details, including descriptions, rates, availability, promotions, and restrictions, with Amex and Hyatt. This integration lets you access select markets, expanding your reach to potential premium clients.

  • Amex curates a collection of professionally managed homes and retreats available for short-term rental in select U.S. destinations for Platinum Card® and Business Platinum Card® Members through AmexTravel.com
  • Hyatt connects high luxury villas with the perfect fit.

Prerequisites

Amex

  • Low season average daily rate is greater than or equal to $300.
  • One or more bedroom units are greater than or equal to 500 square feet.
  • Bathrooms and kitchens renovated within 5 years.
  • Contact BookingPal at onboarding@mybookingpal.com to learn more about minimum requirements for Amex.

Hyatt

Before you begin

Ensure your properties are active and listed. Unlisted or inactive listings will not be published to BookingPal. 

Connect your account and listings

Follow the steps below to connect your BookingPal account and listings to Guesty. 

  1. Register for a BookingPal account.
  2. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  3. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  4. Click Distribution.
  5. Locate the BookingPal thumbnail, and click Connect
  6. Click Start connecting to BookingPal.
  7. Click Continue to connect listings.
  8. Select a cancellation policy, and a cancellation fee if relevant, from the dropdown menus, then click Next.

    You can change the cancellation policy at any time via the listing's settings.

  9. Choose the listings you'd like to connect: 

    1. Select All my current listings
    2. Or select Specific listings and click Select listings to connect. Check the boxes for the relevant listings, and click Done

    Important:

    Only multi-units and single units can be linked to BookingPal.

  10. Click Done

    A pop-up will appear letting you know that your listings are pending connection with BookingPal.

  11. Click Continue to dashboard.

Connect additional properties

To connect new properties after your BookingPal account is connected to Guesty, click Connect listings at the top-right corner of your BookingPal dashboard and follow steps 7 to 11 above.

Sync property changes

Changes to properties sync to BookingPal only if the listing's status is "Live on channel". If the listing status is "Pending", changes won't sync until the status changes to either "Live on Channel" or "Failed".  

  • Live on channel: Changes sync automatically to the channel.
  • Failed: Reinitiate the connection process to sync the updates to the channel.

Updates take up to 24 hours to reflect on the BookingPal.

Disconnect a property

Follow the instructions to disconnect a property.
