Connecting your VillaTracker account and listings to Guesty

VillaTracker is a booking channel exclusively for luxury villas, flats, chalets, and unique properties in leisure destinations and city centers. You can publish your Guesty listings to VillaTracker and manage them directly in Guesty. Once your Guesty account is connected to VillaTracker, you can publish listings at any time and the content will be synced across the platforms.

Follow the instructions below to connect your account and listings to VillaTracker.

Note:

Only multi-units and single units can be linked to VillaTracker. Unlisted or inactive listings will not be published. Learn how to activate and list your listings.

Before you begin

Ensure each property has at least 12 pictures, free of watermarks or any text containing contact details. 

Connect your account and properties

  1. Register for VillaTracker account here.
  2. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  3. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  4. Click Distribution.
  5. Locate the VillaTracker thumbnail, and click Connect.
  6. Click Start connecting to VillaTracker.
  7. Click Continue to connect listings.
  8. Select a cancellation policy and a cancellation fee (if relevant) from the dropdown menus, then click Next.

    Note:

    You can change the cancellation policy at any time via the listing's settings

  9. Select the listings you want to connect and click Done.
  10. Click Done.
  11. Click Continue to dashboard.

Connect additional properties

To connect new listings after your VillaTracker account is connected to Guesty, click Connect listings at the top-right corner of your VillaTracker dashboard and follow steps 7 to 11 above.

Update a connected property

Updates made to properties after the connection process was initiated can only be synced to the channel if the listing’s status is “Live on channel”. Updates may take up to 24 hours to reflect on the channel.

Reconnect a disconnected listing

If you disconnected a listing from a booking channel, you can easily reconnect it. Learn more about the differences between unlisting, deactivating, deleting, removing, or disconnecting a listing

Reconnecting is only possible for listings in status "Live on channel" or "Failed". In the integration page, locate the listing you want to reconnect and click the horizontal ellipsis in the "Actions" column. Click Reconnect.
