Connecting your Blueground account and listings to Guesty

Blueground is a channel for mid-term rentals with a minimum length of stay on 1 month. You can publish your Guesty listings to Blueground and manage them directly in Guesty. Once your Guesty account is connected to Blueground, you can publish listings at any time and the content will be synced across the platforms.

Blueground accepts listings in the following currencies: USD, EUR, AED, CAD, SGP, TRY, R$, CHF, MXN, and HKD. Only multi-units and single units can be linked to Blueground. Complexes are not supported.

Follow the instructions below to connect your Blueground account and properties to Guesty.

Connect your account and properties

Step by step:

  1. Sign up for Blueground.
  2. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  3. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  4. Click Distribution.
  5. Locate the Blueground thumbnail, and click Connect
  6. Click Start connecting to Blueground.
  7. Mark the I have already signed up checkbox. 
  8. Click Continue to connect listings.
  9. Select a cancellation policy and a cancellation fee (if relevant) from the dropdown menus, then click Next. You can change the cancellation policy at any time.
  10. Choose the listings you'd like to connect by selecting All my current listings or Specific listings. If you choose the latter, click Select listings to connect. Then, mark the checkboxes for the relevant listings, and click Done. Unlisted or inactive listings will not be published to Blueground. Learn how to activate and list your listings.
  11. Click Done. A pop-up will appear letting you know that your listings are pending connection with Blueground.
  12. Click Continue to dashboard.

Connect additional properties

To connect additional properties after your Blueground account is connected to Guesty, click Connect listings in the top-right corner of your Blueground integration page and follow the steps above.

Update a connected property

Updates made to properties after the connection process was initiated can only be synced to the channel if the listing’s status is “Live on channel”. Updates may take up to 24 hours to reflect on the channel.

Reconnect a disconnected listing

If you disconnected a listing from a booking channel, you can easily reconnect it. Learn more about the differences between unlisting, deactivating, deleting, removing, or disconnecting a listing

Reconnecting is only possible for listings in status "Live on channel" or "Failed". In the integration page, locate the listing you want to reconnect and click the horizontal ellipsis in the "Actions" column. Click Reconnect.
