Jervis Systems makes it simple to securely and inexpensively add remote access and automation to enhance your property management. Easily connect Jervis Systems to your existing smart locks and garage doors, automating access for guests, cleaning companies, or friends and families.

Copy the Guesty API key

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click icon Integrations to open the dropdown menu.
  3. Select Marketplace.
  4. Click the "Jervis Systems" thumbnail.
  5. At the top right click Connect.
  6. In the pop-up, click Copy text icon to copy the API key.
  7. Click OK.

Important:

The API key is valid for 4 hours only, proceed to the below steps to connect the partner immediately.

Connect Jervis Systems With Guesty

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Jervis Systems account. If you don't already have an account, register here.
  2. In your Jervis Systems dashboard, navigate to the "Marketplace" page and select the toggle to connect to Guesty.
  3. In the provided form, paste the API key copied in the steps above.
  4. If the connection is successful, you will see a green confirmation message. Your Guesty profile will now show “Connected” and “PIN Code Support Only” on. Be sure to leave these settings enabled.
  5. Once your Guesty and Jervis Systems accounts are connected, go to your “Properties Page” within your Jervis Systems account and click "Refresh Properties". When the page has reloaded, you will see all the property listings imported from your Guesty account. Make sure you set up our time zone.
  6. Complete the set up of automated access between Jervis Systems and Guesty for your imported reservations.
  7. You’re synced! You can confirm the setup of the SET Pin Code in your Guesty account by clicking icon Reservations in the side navigation menu, selecting the reservation details, and scrolling down to view the “Keycode” field below your booking calendar. From now on, key codes will automatically be generated for newly created reservations.

Sharing Key Code With Guests

In order to share the key codes with your guests you must set up Automated Messages that include the code variable. Follow the steps below.

  1. To create or edit an automated message, in the side navigation menu, click icon Operations to open the dropdown menu, then under Front desk, select Message automation. See more information here.
    • Schedule at least 20 minutes after reservation confirmation to allow time for the variable to populate.
  2. In your message content, use the variable {{key_code}}. See more information here.
