You can edit or cancel a scheduled Auto Payment for a specific reservation.
Follow the instructions below.
Editing an Auto payment per reservation
Details you can update in your Auto payment:
- Amount. Learn how.
- Date. You can set a present or a future date, as determined by the reservation.
- Payment method. You can select an existing payment method which was already added to the reservation, or you can add a new payment method.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
- In the top menu, click Reservations.
- Click the relevant reservation.
- In the gray banner at the top right of the page, click Balance Due.
- Under Payments, hover over the relevant scheduled payment and click Edit payment.
- Fill in the relevant information.
- Click Update.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click Other, then select Reservations.
- Click the relevant reservation.
- Click the full-screen icon to open the reservation page.
- In the gray banner at the top right of the page, click Balance Due.
- Under Payments, hover over the relevant scheduled payment and click Edit payment.
- Fill in the relevant information.
- Click Update.
Cancelling an Auto payment per reservation
Important:
Always cancel a scheduled Auto Payment before collecting a manual payment, to avoid duplicated payments on a reservation.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
- In the top menu, click Reservations.
- Select the relevant reservation.
- In the gray banner at the top of the page, click Balance due to the right.
- Under "Payments", click Scheduled.
- Click Cancel payment to the right of the relevant payment.
- Click Yes, cancel payment.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click Other, then select Reservations.
- Click the relevant reservation.
- Click the full-screen icon to open the reservation page.
- In the gray banner at the top of the page, click Balance due to the right.
- Under "Payments", click Scheduled.
- Click Cancel payment to the right of the relevant payment.
- Click Yes, cancel payment.
