Editing or cancelling a scheduled Auto Payment per reservation

You can edit or cancel a scheduled Auto Payment for a specific reservation. Follow the instructions below.

Editing an Auto Payment per reservation

Pro users Lite users

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. In the top menu, click Reservations.
  4. Click the relevant reservation.
  5. In the gray banner at the top right of the page, click Balance Due. 
  6. Under Payments, hover over the relevant scheduled payment and click Edit payment.
  7. Fill in the relevant information.
  8. Click Update.

Important:

Details you can update in you auto-payment and related limitations:

  • Amount
  • Date. You can set a present or a future date, as determined by the reservation.
  • Payment method. You can select an existing payment method which was already added to the reservation, or you can add a new payment method.

Cancelling an Auto Payment per reservation

Important:

Always cancel a scheduled Auto Payment before collecting a manual payment, to avoid duplicated payments on a reservation.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. In the top menu, click Reservations.
  4. Select the relevant reservation.
  5. In the gray banner at the top of the page, click Balance due to the right.
  6. Under "Payments", click Scheduled
  7. Click Cancel payment to the right of the relevant payment.
  8. Click Yes, cancel payment.
