It's currently not possible to sync tasks between Guesty and Operto. You will need to decide which task management system to use for your property management needs.
Copy the Guesty API key
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Integrations to open the dropdown menu. - Select Marketplace.
- Click the "Operto" thumbnail.
- In the top right corner, click Connect.
- In the pop-up, click
to copy the API key. - Click OK.

Step by step:
- Sign in to your Operto account.
- Under Connect to our partners, click Connect.
- Paste the API Key.
Sharing key codes with guests
In order to share the key codes with your guests you must set up Automated Messages that include the code variable. Follow the steps below.
- To create or edit an automated message, in the side navigation menu, click
Operations to open the dropdown menu, then under Front desk, select Message automation. - In your message content, use the variable {{key_code}}. This is the default and recommended option. If Operto was connected to Guesty prior to June 2020, use {{notes_guest}}.
