It's currently not possible to sync tasks between Guesty and Operto. You will need to decide which task management system to use for your property management needs.

Copy the Guesty API key

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the integration center icon.
  3. From the dropdown menu, select Guesty Marketplace.
  4. Search for "Operto" then click Connect in the thumbnail.
  5. In the top right corner, click Connect.
  6. Click the API key to copy it.
  7. Click Ok.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Operto account.
  2. Under Connect to our partners, click Connect.
  3. Paste the API Key.

Sharing key codes with guests

In order to share the key codes with your guests you must set up Automated Messages that include the code variable. Follow the steps below.

  1. Create or edit an automated message to send to guests based on reservation confirmation or check-in. Schedule the message at least 20 minutes after reservation confirmation to allow time for the variable to populate.
  2. In your message content, use the variable {{key_code}}. This is the default and recommended option. If Operto was connected to Guesty prior to June 2020, use {{notes_guest}}.

Tip:

We recommend sending this automated message a few hours before the check-in time.
