SCLAK is a secure access control system complete with an electronic device and a smartphone app. Integrate all your electronic locks into one user-friendly system. Follow the instructions below to connect SCLAK to Guesty.

Copy the Guesty API key

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click icon Integrations to open the dropdown menu.
  3. Select Marketplace.
  4. Click the SCLAK thumbnail.
  5. In the top right corner, click Connect.
  6. In the pop-up, click Copy text icon to copy the API key.
  7. Click OK.

Connect SCLAK With Guesty

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your SCLAK account.
  2. Click Channel Manager.
  3. Click Guesty.
  4. Paste the API Key.
  5. In the listing's table, connect your Guesty listings to your SCLAK units.

Sharing key codes with guests

In order to share the key codes with your guests you must set up Automated Messages that include the code variable. Follow the steps below.

  1. To create or edit an automated message, in the side navigation menu, click icon Operations to open the dropdown menu, then under Front desk, select Message automation. See more information here.
    • Schedule at least 20 minutes after reservation confirmation to allow time for the variable to populate.
  2. In your message content, use the variable {{key_code}}. See more information here.
