Copy the Guesty API Key

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the icon drop-down menu and select Setup mode.
  3. Click Integrations, then select Marketplace.
  4. On the Brivo thumbnail, click Connect.
  5. In the top right corner, click Connect.
  6. Click the API Key to copy it.
  7. Click Ok.

Connect Brivo With Guesty

Step by step:

  1. Contact Brivo in order to set up an account.
  2. Upon request, provide the API Key copied in the steps above.

Copy the Guesty Listing ID

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, click Listings.
  3. Click the relevant listing.
  4. Copy the Guesty listing ID from the web address bar.
  • The Guesty listing ID is the sequence of numbers and letters after "https://app.guesty.com/properties/" in your browser's web address bar. 
    • See listing ID highlighted here: https://app.guesty.com/properties/5e5e2f1966046d002dcc00d4/property 
  • For multi-units, the listing ID needed is the second ID in the URL for the sub-unit, highlighted here: https://app.guesty.com/properties/5e5e2f1966046d002dcc00d4/unit/5e5e2f1966046d002dcc017e/property

Paste the Guesty Listing ID

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Brivo account.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Properties.
  3. Select the property to sync.
  4. In the top navigation bar, click Details.
  5. Click Edit Details.
  6. In the "Alternate ID" field, paste the Guesty listing ID copied in the steps above.
  7. Click Save.

Note:

Door codes sent from Brivo will appear in the Other notes field on a Guesty reservation page. 

Sharing Key Codes With Guests

In order to share the key codes with your guests you must set up Automated Messages that include the code variable. Follow the steps below.

  1. Create or edit an automated message to send to guests based on reservation confirmation or check-in. See more information here.
    • Schedule at least 20 minutes after reservation confirmation to allow time for the variable to populate.
  2. In your message content, use the variable {{notes_other}}. See more information here.
