Managing the email addresses associated with your Guesty profile

Important:

Privacy laws prohibit communicating information about your account to unrecognized email addresses.

You can easily add, edit, and delete your Guesty Profile email addresses, at any time.

 

Adding an email address

Follow the instructions below to add an email address to your Guesty Profile.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top-right corner, click the profile icon.
  3. From the drop-down, select My profile.
  4. Under the "Email" field, click Add email.
  5. Enter the email address.
  6. In the top-right corner, click Save.

 

Selecting a primary email address

Your primary email address will be the email address you sign in to Guesty with.
While you can have as many addresses as necessary, please keep in mind that you can only have one primary email address.

To select or change a primary email address:

  1. Hover over the relevant address and click the gray star (on the far right side of the text field).
  2. Once it's selected, your primary address will have a blue star next to it.

 

Editing an email address

Follow the instructions below to edit an email address in your Guesty Profile.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top-right corner, click the profile icon and select My profile.
  3. Scroll down to "Contact details".
  4. Click the email address you want to edit and change it as needed.
  5. In the top-right corner, click Save.
    1. If the address you changed is the primary one (marked by a star), a pop-up will appear, telling you to validate it.
    2. In this case, you will receive 2 emails:
      • A notification email will be sent to the current (old) address, to make sure you are aware of the change
      • A validation email will be sent to the new email address to complete the process

        Important:

        If you are in the middle of working on something (like creating a task or a listing), save your work before validating the new address. Any unsaved work will be lost after you validate the address. 

 

Deleting an email address

Follow the instructions below to delete an email address in your Guesty Profile.

Important:

You won't be able to delete a primary email address unless you select a new primary email address, first.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top-right corner, click the profile icon.
  3. From the drop-down, select My Profile.
  4. In the "Email" field, hover over the relevant email address.
  5. Click the Trash Can icon.
  6. In the top-right corner, click Save.
