Setting up a Booking.com listing as a hostel

You can configure a listing's settings in Guesty to ensure that it will be reflected as a "hostel" in Booking.com. Follow the instructions below.

Note:

If the listing is a multi-unit, this setup should be managed via the multi-unit main unit's settings, rather than via a sub-unit's settings. The settings will automatically be applied to all sub-units. Learn more.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector, then select Operations mode.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Click the relevant listing.
  5. In the left-side menu, click Details & Layout.
  6. Click Location & details.
  7. Next to "Property details", click Edit.
  8. Under "Listing type", select Shared room from the dropdown.
  9. Under "Property Type", select Dorm from the dropdown.
  10. Under "Room Type", select Dormitory room from the dropdown.
  11. Click Save.
