Deleting a guest's email address

In Guesty you can delete a guest's email address from three different parts of the dashboard. Each part provides you with more information besides the guest details. See below what added value you get out of each approach to figure out which one suits your current needs:
  • The reservation page: Provides full details about the reservation in question. 
  • The inbox widget: Allows you to edit guest details while maintaining complete access to guest communication.
  • The multi-calendar widget: Allows you to edit guest details while maintaining full view of the rest of your reservations and available calendar dates.
Follow the instructions below to learn how to delete the number in each of these ways.

Note:

If only one email address is left after you are done deleting, it will have a blue star next to it, which means this address is the primary address for guest communication.

Reservation page

Pro users Lite users

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
  3. Click Reservations.
  4. Click the relevant reservation.
  5. In the "Guest" section, click the pencil to the right.
  6. Under "Email", hover over the address you want to remove.
  7. Click the trash can icon that appears to the right.
  8. Click Save.

Inbox Widget

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click
  3. In the left side-bar, select Guests inbox.
  4. To the left, click the relevant message thread.
  5. In the widget sidebar to the right, click .
  6. At the top of the widget, click the pencil icon.
  7. Under "Email", hover over the address you want to remove
  8. Click the trash can icon that appears to the right.
  9. Click Save.

Multi-Calendar Widget

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the Calendar icon.
  3. Click the relevant reservation.
  4. In the widget sidebar to the right, click .
  5. At the top of the widget, click the pencil icon.
  6. Under "Email", hover over the address you want to remove
  7. Click the trash can icon that appears to the right.
  8. Click Save.
