Copy the Guesty API key
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Integrations to open the dropdown menu. - Select Marketplace.
- Click the PointCentral thumbnail.
- In the top-right corner, click Connect.
- In the pop-up, click
to copy the API key. - Click Ok.
Connect PointCentral with Guesty
Step by step:
- Contact PointCentral in order to set up an account.
- Request to connect to Guesty.
- Provide the API Key.
Share the key code with guests
To share the key codes with your guests, set up Automated Messages that include the code variable. Follow the steps below.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Operations to open the dropdown menu. - Under Front desk, select Message automation.
- Create or edit an automated message to send to guests based on reservation confirmation or check-in. See more information here.
- Schedule at least 20 minutes after reservation confirmation to allow time for the variable to populate.
- In your message content, use the variable {{key_code}}. See more information here.
Any changes to check-in dates or times made in Guesty will automatically update in PointCentral. Key code generation and delivery will continue to function as expected.
