You can set up an email address so that team members can reply to automated messages. Follow the steps below to set up the specific email address for these replies.
Important:
Replies sent to a specified email address won't appear in the Guesty Inbox.
If you're using Guest Communication Services, the team will receive the reply and will continue the conversation via this email address.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
- Click Automations.
- From the dropdown select Messages.
- Locate the relevant message automation, then click the three vertical dots on the right side of it and select Edit.
- Click the relevant message to open it.
Note that this feature is only applicable for messages sent via Email. If needed, change the sending method to via Email under "How will it be sent". - Under "Who will receive it" ensure User is selected from the dropdown menu, and select the relevant team member.
- To add or update the reply email address, uncheck the box next to "Recipients will not be able to reply to this message".
- Under "Add the email address to which you would like to receive the recipient's reply" enter the email address you want to receive responses to.
- Click Save.
- Click Save again.
- In the popup message, click Apply changes.
