The Guesty Booking Engine lets you showcase listings and collect reservations directly without paying channel fees. When guests use the search bar on your Guesty Booking Engine website, they see the  nightly rates for each listing in the search results. You can control how these prices are displayed.

How search results determine pricing

The price displayed in search results depends on whether a guest has selected specific travel dates.

  • No dates selected:

The "price per night" defaults to the listing's base price. This includes manual adjustments you set for these dates, such as overridden base prices.

  • Dates selected:

The "price per night" is calculated based on the specific nightly rates for those dates. This includes manual adjustments, such as overridden base prices.

View types and pricing calculations

The way pricing appears also changes depending on how the guest views the search results:

  • List view: Displays the average nightly price for the selected period.
  • Map view: Displays the listing's base price.

Promotional discounts and special offers do not appear in the initial search results. These are reflected only after a guest clicks Book Now.

Tip:

Create additional fees to reservations made through your Guesty Booking Engine.

To avoid confusion when using pricing tools, review your rate history to identify typical low-season prices, and set your default base price accordingly. This ensures guests see consistent pricing when browsing without date filters and creates a smoother booking experience.
