After you create your Booking Engine, you can embed your own custom code snippets into it. Follow the steps below.

Use this advanced feature with a developer to avoid technical issues. Guesty doesn't offer support for technical difficulties associated with custom code snippets.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Marketing and sales to open the dropdown menu. - Under Channel management, select Distribution.
- Click the Guesty Booking Engine thumbnail.
- Click
next to the relevant Booking Engine and select Edit Booking Engine. - Scroll down to "Custom code snippet" and click Advanced.
- Toggle on Turn on custom code snippet.

Enter the custom code in the text field.
Tip:
You can use custom code snippets to add a cookie banner for GDPR/CCPA compliance. This lets you create short consent messages instead of displaying only the long Privacy & Cookie Policy text.
- In the side navigation menu, click Languages to navigate to the last action.
- Click Save Booking Engine to apply changes.
Confirm that your Guesty Booking Engine is performing as expected. If not, toggle off Turn on custom code snippet.
