You can use iCal to sync a non-exclusive inventory listing's Guesty calendar with external calendars to avoid double bookings and present the correct availability to guests.
If a non-exclusive inventory listing becomes exclusive at some point, you may want to stop syncing the calendars.
Follow the instructions below to delete a listing's calendar import or export link.
Turning off sync/deleting an import link
Since we are still deploying our new dashboard, follow the instructions for "Legacy navigation" if your search bar is in a blue line above the top navigation bar.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
- Click Properties.
- Select the relevant listing.
You can use the filters above the table of listings to help narrow your search.
For a multi-unit, edit the individual sub-unit to make sure the imported link is removed from that unit only. - In the listing's menu to the left, click Calendar.
- From the drop-down, select Calendar sync (iCal).
- To the right of "Imported calendars", click Edit.
- To the right of the name of the calendar you'd like to remove, turn the toggle off to stop the sync.
Alternatively, you can click the trash can icon and choose the action you would like to perform:- Delete all calendar events
- Delete all future events
- Delete all past events
- Delete calendar but not current events
- In the pop-up, click Remove.
- Click Save.
