Managing reservations in the mobile app

The Guesty mobile app allows you to efficiently manage reservation-related tasks while on the go. This guide outlines how to add, edit, and delete reservations directly from the app, focusing on what you can achieve. 

Tip:

You can access and manage reservations from the Reservations, Inbox, or Multi-Calendar tabs. For more details about accessing reservations through different tabs, see the relevant section here. 

Searching for reservations

To find a reservation:

  1. Log in to the Guesty mobile app.
  2. Tap the magnifying glass icon from the home screen in the top-right corner.
  3. Enter the guest's name or confirmation code to locate the reservation.

Tip:

For reservations outside of today’s date, use the search function from the home screen to ensure a broader date range is considered. 

Creating a reservation

You can create a reservation in two ways:

From the Multi-Calendar tab:

  1. Open the Multi-Calendar tab. 
  2. Tap the desired start date for the reservation. 
  3. Enter guest details, number of guests, and payment information.
  4. Tap Confirm to complete the reservation. 

From the Reservations tab:

  1. Open the Reservations tab. 
  2. Tap (+) to add a new reservation. 
  3. Select the property, dates, guest details, and tap Confirm
  4. Tap Book reservation to finalize

Managing a reservation

When managing reservations in the Guesty mobile app, there are two main sections where you can view and edit various aspects of the reservation: 

  1. Tap in the upper-right corner in the top-right corner to manage:
    • Operations: Track cleaning tasks and maintenance statuses related to the reservation.
    • Property: View property details associated with the reservation.
    • Guest: View and update guest information.
    • Automated messages: View and edit automated messages sent to the guest within the reservation.
    • Finance: View and edit guest folio.
    • Payments: Set up auto-payments to easily collect and manage your reservation payments.
  2. Tap  in the top-right corner and select Edit reservation to manage:
    • Status & channel: Confirm or cancel a reservation
    • Guest number
    • Listing
    • Dates
    • Notes
    • Special requests
    • Travel information
    • Keycode: Enter a keycode for guest access to the property

Important:

Custom fields (Pro users only): Add or edit custom fields within a reservation to capture additional information relevant to your business needs.
