KeyNest enables your guests to self-check in and manages access for your staff. Deposit your keys at your nearest KeyNest store and manage access remotely. KeyNest is an official Partner of Airbnb with 2,000 stores across Europe. Follow the instructions below to connect KeyNest to Guesty.
Copy the Guesty API key
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the icon drop-down menu and select Setup mode.
- Click Integrations, then select Marketplace.
- On the KeyNest thumbnail, click Connect.
- In the top right corner, click Connect.
- Click the API Key to copy it.
- Click Ok.
Connect KeyNest with Guesty
Step by step:
- Sign in to your KeyNest account.

Navigate to the Integrations section, then paste guesty's API token.

Link your KeyNest keys to your Guesty Listings:

Select a key on KeyNest >Edit Key.

Add the Guesty Listing ID to the key.

Note:
The Guesty Listing ID can be found at the end of the URL when clicking on a listing in Guesty.
Sharing key codes with guests
In order to share the key codes with your guests you must set up Automated Messages that include the code variable. Follow the steps below.
- Create or edit an automated message to send to guests based on reservation confirmation or check-in. See more information here.
- Schedule at least 20 minutes after reservation confirmation to allow time for the variable to populate.
- In your message content, use the variable KeyNest Code one. This variable tells the guest how to collect the keys (see more information here). You can also add the KeyNest Collection instructions variable to your automations.
