Sharing key codes with guests

In order to share the key codes with your guests you must set up Automated Messages that include the code variable. Follow the steps below.

  1. Create or edit an automated message to send to guests based on reservation confirmation or check-in. See more information here.
    • Schedule at least 20 minutes after reservation confirmation to allow time for the variable to populate.
  2. In your message content, use the variable KeyNest Code one. This variable tells the guest how to collect the keys (see more information here). You can also add the KeyNest Collection instructions variable to your automations.

If the code was not sent, follow this troubleshooting guide.

You can have one KeyNest key per Guesty listing.
