If you're connected to Marriott Homes & Villas (HVMI) via BookingPal, use this article to troubleshoot common issues.

Marriott listing's descriptions and photos are not updated

If your Marriott Homes & Villas listing descriptions and photos are syncing between Guesty and HVMI, check the following:

In Guesty

  • Check that the description fields and photos exist on the listing.
  • Confirm that the listing is active and listed.

In BookingPal

  • Confirm that the listing exists in BookingPal.
  • Compare the listing descriptions in BookingPal with those in Guesty. If the descriptions in BookingPal are incorrect, contact BookingPal support to retrieve the latest Guesty listing details and to sync them to Marriott.

Marriott reservation is missing taxes

To make sure your HVMI reservation has the correct taxes, set up taxes in Guesty. This will then sync to the listing in Marriott.

Listing is unlisted in Marriott but listed in Guesty

If a listing is unlisted in HVMI but listed in Guesty, open a support request to BookingPal. Contact us with the BookingPal case number and a summary of the issue so we can communicate with BookingPal directly to assist you.

Auto payments aren't working on a Marriott reservation

Payment processing for HVMI reservations is handled by BookingPal. Contact your BookingPal account manager to check payment status and make sure they update your Guesty account accordingly.

If you have already confirmed the payment status on BookingPal, but the Guesty status still doesn't match, contact us with a screenshot of the BookingPal status.
