Understanding the Airbnb content fixes agent

The Airbnb Content Fixes agent helps you find and fix listing content that Airbnb rejects. The agent identifies issues with your listings and suggests corrected versions for your approval, saving you time and manual effort.

Limitations

This agent focuses only on content fields like the listing title, description, and house rules. It doesn't change your calendar, pricing, availability, or photos. Any approved changes save directly to the Guesty listing and sync to Airbnb.

Review the following limitations before you run the agent:

  • Confirmation required: A change that the agent can't confirm after saving is never reported as fixed. Instead, the issue remains unresolved and appears in the report as still waiting for approval.
  • Unidentified listings: If an error from Airbnb doesn't specify which listing it belongs to, the agent can't update it. The issue appears in the agent's activity.
  • Run size: The agent processes a maximum of 25 content issues per run. If your listings display more errors, the agent clears them over several runs.
  • Run location: To approve or decline suggestions, the agent must be run from the "Your agents" section of the Agents hub. A run started from the "Discover" section cannot collect your decisions.

Understand the Airbnb content fixes agent

The Airbnb content fixes agent runs automatically on every Monday at 08:00 AM. You can also trigger the agent manually.

During each run, the agent does the following:

  1. Checks your Airbnb listings for rejected content, such as a title containing a link or contact details.
  2. Provides a description of the problem and a suggested replacement for each issue.
  3. Allows you to approve, decline, or edit suggestions. Guesty updates only after you approve a suggestion.
  4. Once a change is saved, the agent reads it back from Guesty to confirm it applied correctly.
  5. Reads the saved change back from Guesty to confirm it applied correctly.
  6. Marks the original error as resolved in Error troubleshooting on the Airbnb Integration page.

Unapproved items remain waiting, so no issues are lost or ignored.
