The Weekly Operations Brief agent helps you stay on top of your property management operations without manual effort. It automatically scans your account's activity from the past week and looks ahead at upcoming arrivals, consolidating key data into a single, easy-to-read report. This allows you to quickly identify anything that needs your attention, from unanswered messages to gaps in your occupancy.
This agent is read-only and doesn't make any changes to your account. Its only function is to generate the weekly summary report.
Understand the Weekly Operations Brief agent
The Weekly Operations Brief agent runs automatically every Friday at 13:00. You can also trigger the agent manually.
The agent performs the following actions:
- Scans your account activity from the past week using five sources: Reservations (check-ins, check-outs, cancellations, upcoming arrivals, booking channel mix, and occupancy), tasks (closed versus open tasks), Guesty Inbox conversations (unread host messages), guest reviews (reviews received during the period), and active listing count (used as the occupancy denominator).
- Identifies and highlights items needing your attention based on signals like unanswered messages, low reviews, and empty nights between stays.
- Delivers a consolidated report summarizing the operational status of the week.
The agent uses two distinct time windows:
- Last week: The completed Monday-to-Sunday week. A Friday run reports on the week that ended the previous Sunday.
- The week ahead: Check-ins from the Friday run date forward for seven days.

Review the activity feed
Follow the steps below to review your activity feed.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, select
Agents hub. - In the left submenu, select Agent activity.
- Click the relevant row with the agent's name to review the report details in the right-side panel.
Understand the report status and details
Every successful run shows a status of "Done".
A one-line summary appears next to the run. Click the row to open the full brief in the side panel. The brief is organized into the following labelled sections, which always appear in the same order:
- "Overview": A single-line summary of the week.
- "Guests and stays": Check-ins and check-outs from the past week.
- "Occupancy": Occupancy for the week, including orphan nights. An orphan night is any night a property wasn't booked. If a listing had no bookings all week, that's seven orphan nights for that listing alone.
- "Operations": Task activity, broken down into closed and open tasks.
- "Inbox": The number of unanswered conversations and a sentiment read of the messages. The agent reviews the latest message in up to 15 unanswered conversations and highlights notable items.
- "Reviews": Reviews received during the week.
- "Worth a look": Items needing a closer look. This section only appears when there is something to flag.
- "The week ahead": Check-ins from the run date forward for the next seven days.
Important:
The brief doesn't include financial information, such as revenue, payouts, or expenses.
What is flagged as "Worth a look"
When the "Worth a look" section appears, it flags one or more of the following items:
- Reviews with a rating below four out of five, or containing keywords like disappoint, dirty, rude, or noisy. A five-star review mentioning a noisy street is still flagged because the keyword check is independent of the rating.
- Cancellations that occurred during the week.
- Booking channel mix for the week.
