Troubleshooting: Booking.com listing connected but not bookable

Booking.com occasionally updates listing statuses on their platform, causing temporary sync mismatches. While Guesty shows "Connected", Booking.com displays "Not bookable", which may close the listing. Reconnecting the listing restores the sync and corrects the status on both platforms.

Restore listing sync

To restore listing sync between the platforms, refresh the rate plan and reconnect the listing.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click icon Marketing and sales to open the dropdown menu.
  3. Under Revenue management, select Rate Plans.
  4. Go to the listing's rate plans.
  5. Deactivate the active rate plan.
  6. Wait 30 seconds, and reactivate the rate plan.
  7. Then, proceed to Channel management, select Distribution.
  8. Click Booking.com.
  9. Find the affected listing and click the dropdown "Connected", select "Disconnect".
  10. Wait 10-15 seconds, then, select "Reconnect".
  11. Listing will move to "Pending" status, the status updates to "Connected" in less than 30mins.

Confirm availability on Booking.com

Wait 10 to 15 minutes for systems to sync. Log in to your Booking.com extranet and confirm the property status shows "Open/Bookable".

Contact support

If your listing remains unavailable after 24 hours, contact support with your property name and Booking.com Hotel ID for further investigation.
