Capital One Travel is a travel booking site that helps customers book trips and earn rewards. Follow the steps below to connect your Capital One account and listings to Guesty.

This channel is not yet available to all Guesty users. To join the pilot, fill out this form

Before you begin

Ensure your properties are active and listed in Guesty. Unlisted or inactive properties won't publish to Capital One. 

Your properties must meet the following requirements:

  • Have a kitchen or a kitchenette
  • Have at least 5 photos
  • Have at least 1 amenity
  • Have availability in the upcoming months
  • Have pricing for available dates in the upcoming months
  • Don't require Capital One to collect refundable damage deposits from guests
  • Have USD, AUD, CAD, EUR, or GBP as the currency

Connect your account and listings

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click icon Marketing and sales to open the dropdown menu.
  3. Under Channel management, select Distribution.
  4. Locate the Capital One thumbnail, and click Connect.
  5. Click Connect to Capital One.
  6. Click Continue to connect listings.
  7. Select a cancellation policy and a cancellation fee (if relevant) from the dropdown menus, then click Next.

    Note:

    You can change the cancellation policy at any time in the listing's settings.

  8. Choose the listings to connect:
    • To connect all listings, select All my current listings.
    • To connect individual listings, select Specific listings. Click Select listings to connect and check the boxes for the relevant listings. Click Done.
  9. Click Done.

    Note:

    A pop-up informs you that your listings are pending connection with Capital One.

  10. Click Continue to dashboard.

Connect additional listings

To connect new listings after your Capital One account is connected to Guesty, click Connect listings at the top-right corner of your Capital One dashboard and follow steps 7 to 10 above.

Sync listing changes

Changes to your listings will only sync to Capital One if the listing's status is "Live on Channel".

  • Live on Channel: Changes sync automatically to the channel.
  • Failed: You'll need to reinitiate the connection process to push updates to the channel.

If the listing status is "Pending", changes won't sync until the status changes to either "Live on Channel" or "Failed".
