Provide transparency and meet European regulatory requirements by displaying property compliance data and registration numbers directly on your Booking Engine property pages.
When active, a dedicated, legally compliant section automatically displays on the Booking Engine property pages. This section dynamically syncs and displays property registration numbers and compliance data, including company registry information and legal entity names.
For custom frontend and headless implementations, the Booking Engine API fully supports this compliance logic.
Manage the visibility of these regulatory details through a configuration setting in your Booking Engine setup as follows:
- New Booking Engine: The setting is active by default to ensure compliance from day one.
- Existing Booking Engine: The setting is inactive by default to prevent unexpected layout changes on live pages. Activate the setting manually at any time.

If you use a custom frontend, ensure your development team updates your API integration to pull the compliance fields.
Activate the compliance data display
Follow the steps below to display compliance data on your Booking Engine property pages.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Marketing and sales to open the dropdown menu. - Under Channel management, select Distribution.
- Click the Guesty Booking Engine thumbnail.
- Click
next to the relevant Booking Engine, and select Edit booking engine. - In the left submenu, click Booking settings.
- In the "Show compliance" section, select Show legal compliance.
- In the side navigation menu, click Languages to navigate to the last action.
- Click Save Booking Engine to apply your changes.
