Understanding the Review to Task Dispatcher agent

The Review to Task Dispatcher agent transforms guest reviews into actionable maintenance and operations tasks. Instead of reviews sitting as passive feedback, this agent reads each review, extracts specific complaints or issues, and creates concrete follow-up tasks in the system to streamline workflows.

Limitations

  • The Review to Task Dispatcher agent creates tasks in the task management system and doesn't respond to guest reviews. For guest-facing review responses, see the Reply/AI Review Response Drafter agent.
  • The Review to Task Dispatcher agent avoids creating duplicate tasks if the same issue was already flagged from a previous review for the same listing. Generic complaints like "the location wasn't ideal" are skipped as they are not property-actionable.

Understanding the agent

For each qualifying review, the agent automatically executes the following actions:

  • Analyzes the review for mentions of broken appliances, maintenance issues, cleanliness problems, missing amenities, safety concerns, or noise issues.
  • Determines which issues are actionable rather than generic opinions or praise.
  • Creates tasks for each actionable issue, tagged with the listing, issue type, and priority.
  • Links the task back to the originating review or reservation.

Access the agent

Follow the steps below to access the agent.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click the Integrations icon Agents hub.
  3. In the left submenu, click Agent activity.
  4. Select the Review to Task Dispatcher thumbnail.

Managing agent schedules

Scheduled agents run automatically on a fixed timeline to perform a regular sweep of recent reviews, detecting reviews that have not been processed yet. This automation runs as part of the review monitoring cadence and requires no manual oversight.

Tracking agent activity

Every past agent run appears in the live feed within the “Agent activity” section. You can monitor performance and review what the agent accomplished directly from this feed:

  • Check the status tracker to see the “Done” status , which indicates the agent completed the task successfully and requires no further action.
  • View the activity feed entry to see a summary of how many tasks were created and from which reviews.

Because tasks are created automatically without requiring a human-in-the-loop approval, you can manage the outcomes directly by performing these steps:

  1. Review the task queue for newly created review-sourced tasks.
  2. Assign tasks to the appropriate team members.
  3. Close tasks once the property issue is resolved.
