This article explains how to close your GuestyPay account and what to expect during the process. Follow these steps if you have decided to no longer use GuestyPay services.
Request to close your GuestyPay account
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- Reassign all your properties to a new payment processor. If you will not be using another payment processor, you must still unlist all properties from the GuestyPay section.

Disable the GuestyPay account.
Note:
Disabling the account in Guesty does not cancel the service.
- Open a support ticket to notify the GuestyPay team that you are canceling the service.
What to expect after your cancellation request is processed
Once our support team has processed your request to cancel GuestyPay, keep the following in mind:
- You will continue to be charged the monthly service fee for the next 6 months. Accounts remain open during this period in case you need to process refunds or dispute chargebacks.
- After the 6-month period has passed, the final status of your account will depend on its balance:
- If the account balance is zero: The account will be officially closed, and you will not receive any more charges.
- If the account balance is positive: You will receive one last payout.
- If the account balance is negative: You will need to pay the outstanding balance before the account can be closed permanently.
- You will still have access to your GuestyPay dashboard and reports even after the account is permanently closed. If you have trouble accessing them, please contact support.
Important:
If you process a new transaction during the 6-month waiting period, the 6-month period will reset.
