Channels typically use one of these two restriction types:
- min and max stay on arrival: restrictions apply only to reservations checking in on the specific date.
- min and max stay through: restrictions apply to any reservation that includes the specific date in its range, regardless of the check-in day.

Avoid breaking the sync. Changing the restriction type directly in a channel's settings stops Guesty or SiteMinder from managing your min and max stay rules. You must update these rules manually in the channel's extranet.
