Copy the Guesty API key
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click
- Click Guesty Marketplace.
- On the left-side menu, search for ChefMaison.
- Click on the ChefMaison tile.
- At the top-right, click Connect.
- In the pop-up, copy the API key.
- Click OK.
Note:
The token will expire in 3 hours.
Connect ChefMaison with Guesty
Step by step:
- Visit the ChefMaison integration page.
- After creating an account, in step 2 "Connect Guesty credentials", paste the API key in the "Integration token field".
- Click Save and validate token.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection process.
Set up automated messaging
ChefMaison creates custom fields that you can use in automated messages to promote chef services to your guests.
When connected, ChefMaison creates two sets of custom fields in Guesty:

Property level: Custom fields titled chefmaison_private_chef_listing_url and chefmaison_private_chef_listing_available that contain the property's chef service booking link and availability status.

Reservation level: Custom fields titled chefmaison_private_chef_reservation_url and chefmaison_private_chef_reservation_available that include reservation-specific chef service links and availability.
Use custom fields as variables in Guesty messages to promote chef services to your guests.
Promote chef services to your guests
Follow the steps below to create an automated message that promotes chef services only for listings where the service is available.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
- Click Automations.
- To the right of the relevant message automation, click the
and select Edit.
- Click the relevant automated message.
- Click Add condition, and select one of the following:
- To offer chef services for listings where available: chefmaison_private_chef_listing_available
- To remind guests about chef services for their reservation: chefmaison_private_chef_reservation_url
- Make sure the condition is toggled to "Yes".
- In the top-right of the message content, click Add variable.
- Include the variable {chefmaison_private_chef_listing_url} in your message to provide guests with a direct booking link.
- Review the message and make sure the content is correct.
- Click Save.
- In the message automation setup page, click Save once again, then click Apply Changes in the pop-up message.
