Adding or changing Reconline CIH room types or rate plans

After you connect your complex listings to Reconline CIH, you can make changes to the connected room types or change the connected rate plans. 

Sync added room types from Reconline CIH

If you added a room type to your Hotel ID on Reconline CIH, follow the instructions below to sync it to Guesty.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Distribution.
  4. Click the Reconline CIH thumbnail.
  5. In the integration page, navigate to the relevant listing's row. In the "Actions" column, the horizontal ellipsis, then click Sync updates from channel.

The integration page will be updated with the listings as they appear in the channel.

After syncing the added room types from Reconline CIH, follow the section below to connect the room type and its rate plans between the two platforms. Following the connection, the listing will be sellable and searchable on Reconline CIH.

Change the mapping of room types or rate plans

You can change the connected room types or mapped rate plans of your listings. Also, if you synced an added room type from Reconline CIH to Guesty, connect the room type and its rate plans between the two platforms to make the listing sellable and searchable on Reconline CIH. Follow the instructions below.

Note:

  • The room types in Guesty must be linked to their corresponding units in Reconline CIH before being able to map the corresponding rate plans. If you haven't connected the matching unit types, you'll be redirected to do so first. The room type will be in a connected status on the integration page only after the rate plans have been mapped.
  • If you'd like to edit a mapped rate plan (the room type will be in a connected status on the integration page), disconnect the rate plan. Wait for the status to change to "Not started", then adjust the rate plan.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Distribution.
  4. Click the Reconline CIH thumbnail.
  5. In the integration page, navigate to the relevant listing's row. 
    • To change the connected room types, in “Actions” column, click the horizontal ellipsis, then click Link unit type
    • To change the rate plans of a room type, In the "Mapped rate plans" column, click the listing's Property Page icon.
  6. Make the relevant changes.
