Some booking channels might occasionally send you account-related emails (e.g., password reset emails, messages from their Support team, etc.).
To receive account-related notifications to your preferred email address, add a forwarding email address directly in Guesty.
The following booking channels support this capability:
- Booking.com
- Airbnb
- Expedia
- Rentals United
- Vrbo
Keep in mind, your Guesty integration email syncs guest messages for specific booking channels and is not relevant to account-related notifications.

Adding or editing your forwarding email address via Guesty
Follow the instructions below to set a forwarding email address for the relevant booking channels in Guesty.
Airbnb / Booking.com
For Airbnb, emails for all reservations associated with the account will be forwarded to Guesty, including reservations for unconnected listings.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Marketing and sales to open the dropdown menu. - Under Channel management, select Distribution.
- Click either the Airbnb or Booking.com thumbnail.
- Click
located in the far-right column for the relevant account. -
In the pop-up, enter the email address under Forwarding email.
- To add an additional address, click Add email.

- Click Save.
Expedia
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Marketing and sales and select Distribution. - Click the Expedia thumbnail.
- At the top left, click
. - Enter the address under Forwarding email and click Save.
Rentals United
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Marketing and sales and select Distribution. - Click the Rentals United thumbnail and select the relevant account.
- Under Recipients, click Add a recipient to enter a new email.
Adding or editing your forwarding email address via the booking channel
Vrbo
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Vrbo account.
- Click My account.
- From the dropdown menu, select Account settings.
- Click Account information.
- Under Account holder, add the desired email address in the "Email 3" field.
- Click Save changes.
- Add the relevant email address in the "Contacts" section of each listing.
Important:
Do not replace the integration email address in the Email 2 field, as this enables guest communication sync between Vrbo and Guesty.
