Important:
Creating new owner stays is no longer supported. Create and manage owner reservations instead. You can still manage any existing owner stays.
Owner stays appear as blocked dates on a property's calendar and aren't displayed in the "Reservations" section. This section displays guests' reservations only.
Cancel an owner's stay through the Inbox, Multi-Calendar, or via the Owners Portal.
Review the following restrictions before canceling an owner's stay:
- Canceled owner stays can't be restored. Create a new reservation.
- The dates become available on all booking channels once the stay is canceled.
- Scheduled automated messages are canceled.
- You and your owner receive automated emails once the reservation is canceled.

Cancel an owner's reservation
You can cancel an owner's reservation using the Inbox and the Multi-Calendar.
Follow the instructions below to cancel an owner's stay via the Guesty Inbox.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Inbox. - In the Inbox submenu, click Owners and select the relevant inbox.
- Click the relevant message thread.
- In the inbox widget submenu, click
. - Next to the reservation's confirmation code, click
, then select Edit reservation. - Click Status and channel.
- Under Status, click the dropdown menu and change the status to canceled.
- In the pop-up, select the person canceling the reservation and the cancellation reason. Adding a note is optional.
- Click Cancel reservation.
- At the bottom of the widget, click Save.
Follow the instructions below to cancel an owner's stay through the Multi-Calendar.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Multi-calendar. - In the left sidebar, search for the relevant listing.
- Click the owner's reservation you'd like to cancel.
- In the widget located on the right, click
. - Next to the reservation's confirmation code, click
, then select Edit reservation. - Click Status and channel.
- Under Status, click the dropdown menu and change the status to canceled.
- In the pop-up, select the person canceling the reservation and the cancellation reason. Adding a note is optional.
- Click Cancel reservation.
- At the bottom of the widget, click Save.
