The GuestyPay Account Balance report provides a clear overview of the funds in your Guesty account. It displays the total account balance and shows how funds are distributed across available, pending, and reserve balances.
This report helps you track processed payments, fees, and the status of your payouts.
Access the Account Balance report
Follow the steps below to view your balance information.
Step by step:
In the left-side menu, click Reports.
Select Account Balance.
View the current balance information in the report dashboard.
Filter the report
At the top of the page, adjust the date range to view balance information for a specific period.
Current Available Balance
The total account balance appears at the top of the Account Balance tab. This amount represents the overall balance of the Guesty account.
The total balance includes all processed payments, minus fees, previously paid payouts, and payouts that are currently pending.
Note:
If a $10,000 payout is created and currently pending, that amount is already deducted from the total balance. In this case, the total account balance might show as $0, while the $10,000 appears in the Current Pending Balance section until the payout is complete.
Expand this section to view the specific entries contributing to the available balance, such as settlements, previous payouts, or other processed balance movements.
Current Pending Balance
This section shows payouts that are created but still processing. These funds are in progress and haven't been completed by the banking system yet. Each pending payout appears as a separate line item until finalized.
Current Reserve Balance
The Current Reserve Balance represents funds temporarily held as a reserve. Guesty holds these funds according to the reserve policy applied to the Guesty account. They are released once the reserve conditions are met.
Use payout references
Each payout in the report includes a Reference number (starting with "S").
Follow the steps below to view full details for a specific payout:
Step by step:
Go to the Current Pending Balance or Current Available Balance section.
Locate the relevant payout.
Click the Reference number.
View the Settlements Report to see the transactions and reservations associated with that settlement.
Note:
If a payout is declined or rejected, the Reference link may not be available. When a payout is declined, the funds automatically return to the account balance and are included in the next payout cycle.
