Mobile App: Creating a task

The information in this article is relevant only for Pro users at this time.

You can create and edit tasks from the mobile app, making task management even easier while on the go. Follow the steps below or watch our video to create a new task.

Note:

The following permission roles have access to this feature:

  • Account Admin
  • Account Manager
  • Listing Admin
  • Listing Manager
  • Communication Agent

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to the Guesty mobile app.
  2. Click My Tasks.
  3. At the bottom, click + Task.
  4. Enter a name for the task then click Next.
  5. Complete the following fields:
    1. Assign the task to a team member.
    2. Select the relevant property or reservation.
  6. Click View more options to complete additional fields:
    • Enter a description of the task.
    • Select a priority.
    • Enter a specific or flexible date and time for the task to be completed.
    • Add a checklist.
    • Select a supervisor.
    • Change the task status.
  7. At the top right, click Save.

Tip:

You can change a task status at any time by selecting the task and tapping on the status drop-down, or editing the task by clicking on the top right "edit" button.
