Setting the guest's preferred language gives you the option to easily communicate with a multi-lingual client base, by using "guest preferred language" as a sending condition in your automated messages.
For reservations made through the following channels, the guest’s preferred language will be imported and saved in Guesty:
- Airbnb
- Vrbo
- Booking.com
Keep in mind that the preferred language will be updated for future reservations by the same guest. For example: A guest specified English for their first reservation, then French for their second reservation. The preferred language for that guest will be updated to French.
For all other reservations, you can add the preferred language manually following these steps.
