Loopkey

Loopkey is an intelligent access control system, providing the complete ecosystem for you to fully control who has access to your properties and when.

Copy the Guesty API Key

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the icon drop-down menu and select Setup mode.
  3. Click Integrations, then select Marketplace.
  4. Search for "Loopkey" then click Connect.
  5. At the top right click Connect.
  6. In the pop-up, copy the Integration token.
  7. Click OK.

Important:

The API token is valid for 4 hours only, proceed to the below steps to connect the partner immediately.

Connect Loopkey With Guesty

Step by step:

  1. Sign up with Loopkey.
  2. Upon request from your Loopkey point of contact, provide your Guesty API key copied in the steps above.
  3. Validate your setup by checking that the key codes generated by Loopkey are sent to the “Key code” default variable field in Guesty. For more information, see here.

Sharing key codes with guests

In order to share the key codes with your guests you must set up Automated Messages that include the code variable. Follow the steps below.

  1. Create or edit an automated message to send to guests based on reservation confirmation or check-in. See more information here.
    • Schedule at least 20 minutes after reservation confirmation to allow time for the variable to populate.
  2. In your message content, use the variable {{key_code}}. See more information here.
