Copy the Guesty API key
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Integrations to open the dropdown menu. - Select Marketplace.
- Click the "Loopkey" thumbnail.
- At the top right, click Connect.
- In the pop-up, click
to copy the API key. - Click OK.
Important:
The API key is valid for 4 hours only. Proceed to the steps below to connect the partner immediately.
Connect Loopkey with Guesty
Step by step:
- Sign up with Loopkey.
- Upon request from your Loopkey point of contact, provide your the API key copied from Guesty in the steps above.
- Validate your setup by checking that the key codes generated by Loopkey are sent to the "Key code" default variable field in Guesty. See more information about using partner key codes in automated messages.

Sharing key codes with guests
To share the key codes with your guests, in the side navigation menu, click 
Operations to open the dropdown menu, then under Front desk, select Message automation.
Schedule the messages for 20 minutes or more after reservation confirmation to allow time for the variable to populate. In your message content, use the variable {{key_code}}.
