Request balance payment and file a security deposit via Swikly
Easily request a security deposit from your guests and pay their balance, at the same time.
Send a form to the guest a few days before the check-in using an automated message.
The form includes a clickable link, redirecting the guest to a Swikly form. From there, your guest can proceed to pay their balance and file a security deposit by entering their bank details. The guest can also provide their estimated check-in/check-out times.
As soon as the guest files a deposit and/or pays their balance, the Swikly App automatically updates the reservation in Guesty with this information.
Copy the Guesty API key

- Sign in to your strongGuesty account.
- Click here to connect to Swikly V2.
- In the pop-up, copy the API key.
- Click OK.

The API key is valid for 4 hours only, so proceed to the below steps to connect the partner immediately.
Connect Swikly to Guesty

If you’re not yet a Swikly customer, sign up here. Contact Swikly sales to receive a special price offer.
- Install the Swikly App. If you don't have a Swikly account yet, create one via the app.
- Log in to your Swikly account.
- In the top right menu, click Partners then Guesty.
- Paste the key copied in the steps above into the "Account API access key" field.&
- Validate. You'll see "Account activated".
- Select the option that suits you best:
- Security deposit only: Swikly will ask for a credit card imprint to secure a deposit amount.
- Payment only: Swikly will ask to collect the balance.
- Security deposit + balance payment: Swikly will collect the deposit and the balance payment from the credit card in one transaction.
Your Guesty and Swikly accounts are now linked! The security deposit collection link will be generated.
To complete the setup, configure the emails from Swikly to be sent to guests and collect the security deposits. For more information, contact Swikly support.
