Add sending conditions
When creating or editing an automated message template, add sending rules to define the conditions under which they are sent.
Our guide below provides suggests on using sending conditions for the number of nights of a guest's stay, the type of booking channel they booked with, and the source of extended stay reservations.
Number of nights
Add a condition to send a message based on the reservation's number of nights.
For example, you can send a message if a reservation is longer than 27 days, or if a reservation is shorter than 28 days for regular short-term stays.
Follow the instructions below to set the sending condition based on the number of nights per stay.
- Under "Send the message only if', click Add condition.
- Select Number of nights.
- Select the relevant items from the dropdown menus.
Booking channel
Choose to send messages for reservations that originate from specific booking channels.
Follow the instructions below to set the sending condition based on the booking channel.
- Under "Send the message only if', click Add condition.
- Select Channel.
- Select the relevant channel(s).
Differentiate between the source of extended stay reservations
Add a sending condition based on whether a longer stay reservation was made via a short-term rental booking channel or via a dedicated extended stay channel

Select listings
When creating or editing an automated message template, choose which listings the automated messages will be sent for.
Utilizing tags can help you with quickly selecting the proper listings for your automated messages.
Follow the instructions below to add the extended stay tag to your listings.
Step by step:
- Click the dropdown menu under "Select the listings that this automation will be active on".
- Select Listing by filter.
- Click Filter tag.
- Select the ExtendedStay tag from the drop-down.
