Creating Automated Messages for Extended Stay Listings

Automated Messages let you automate the sending of messages that you use repeatedly. Create or edit Automated Message templates, optimizing them for your extended stay listings. See the information below.

Add Sending Conditions

When creating or editing an Automated Message template, add sending rules to define the conditions under which they are sent. See our suggestions below.

Number of Nights


Add a condition to send a message based on the reservation's number of nights. For example, send a message if a reservation is longer than 27 days, or if a reservation is shorter than 28 days for regular short-term stays. Follow the instructions below.

Step by Step:
  1. Under "Send the message only if', click Add condition.
  2. Select Number of nights.
  3. Select the relevant items from the drop-downs.

Booking Channel


Choose to send messages for reservations that originate from certain booking channels. Follow the instructions below.

Step by Step:
  1. Under "Send the message only if', click Add condition.
  2. Select Channel.
  3. Select the relevant channel(s).

Differentiate Between the Source of Extended Stay Reservations


Add a sending condition based on whether a longer stay reservation was made via a short-term rental booking channel or via a dedicated extended stay channel. Read more and follow the instructions below.

Step by Step:
  1. Under "Send the message only if', click Add condition.
  2. Select the relevant field from the list.
  3. Turn the toggle on or off as relevant.

Select Listings

When creating or editing an Automated Message template, choose which listings the Automated Messages will be sent for. Add the extended stay tag to your listings if you have not done so already, and follow the instructions below.

Step by Step:

  1. Click the drop-down under "Select the listings that this automation will be active on".
  2. Select Listing by filter.
  3. Click Filter tag.
  4. Select the ExtendedStay tag from the drop-down.
