Guest message sent to my email address from forward@guesty.com is missing from the Inbox

If a message that is missing from the Inbox was forwarded to your email by forward@guesty.com, it means that a guest reached out to you from an email address that is not saved in Guesty.

Guest messages will be received in the Inbox:

  • If they are sent from an email address that is saved in Guesty.
  • If the guest is replying to a message that was sent from the Inbox, even if that reply was sent from an email address that is not saved in Guesty.

However, if a guest initiates a conversation from an email address that is not saved in Guesty, the message will not be received in the Inbox and will only be forwarded to you by forward@guesty.com.

To prevent this from happening again, add any new email address to the reservation's guest details. Future messages sent by any of these addresses will appear in the Inbox.
